Authorities have released the identity of a 52-year-old Cranford man found dead in the Rahway River in Cranford.
Police responded to the area of Centennial Avenue and North Avenue East sometime before 11 a.m. where they recovered the body of Joseph Dugandzic, 52 of Cranford, according to the Union County Police.
Dugandzic's cause of death remains under investigation.
According to a statement issued by Dugandzic's family, he was a teacher at Cranford High School.
