Sketch of Chatham Jewelry Store Robbery Suspects Released

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying two men who robbed Crescent Jewelers in Chatham Thursday.

Police said the robbery occurred at around 11 a.m. at 251 Main Street when two men entered the store and stole an undetermined amount of jewelry authorities said.

The men then ran from the store and entered a silver colored jeep driven by a third man, they said.

Police described the suspects as black males (one wearing shorts and a red T-shirt, the second suspect was wearing a traffic-style vest and the final man was was bald with a beard.

State Police assisted the prosecutor's office with producing two sketches of the first and second robbers.
