Several hundred people including city officials, educators, family, and friend from around the state attended a 10 a.m. funeral service for Rahmere Tullis the 3-year-old boy fatally struck by a vehicle that attempted to flee police at around 8 a.m. on September 11, 2015.
The funeral service was held at the Christian Pentecostal Church in Irvington had Newark's Mayor deliver the eulogy urging residents to remember Tullis by making changes that will positively effect the city,
Tullis was laid to rest at Fairmont Cemetery in Newark .
