Woolwich Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Seizure of Weapons, Illegal Narcotics

In the early morning hours of November 3rd, Patrolman M. O'Loughlin conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of US Route 322 and the New Jersey Turnpike - Exit 2 entry/exit.

At that time, Ptl. M. O'Loughlin immediately detected the presence of illegal narcotics.

A search of the vehicle was conducted, subsequent to a K9 sweep and positive indication, which yielded several pounds of raw marijuana, CDS paraphernalia and numerous weapons.

The driver was taken into custody, without incident, and charged accordingly before being turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff's Department for subsequent intake into the Salem County Correctional Facility.
