Woman Who Fell to her Death From Newark Central Ward Building Identified

Newark

Family and friends identified a woman who was killed after she fell from a building in the city's Central Ward on Thursday afternoon.

According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 90’s block of Spruce Street at approximately 2 p.m. to investigate reports of an injured woman.

Upon their arrival, they requested EMS to rush to the scene after they found a severely Loudres Nasario, 39, injured on the concrete.

Reports say EMS rushed Loudres to University Hospital in critical condition where she transitioned sometime over the weekend.

Although there were no reports of suspicious activities, authorities are continuing to investigate what officially caused Loudres death.

In a strange twist of fate, Loudres's teenaged son was struck by gunfire in 2014 and died in proximity to where she fell from the building.

That incident occurred in early November where The Essex County Prosecutor's Office said Newark police officers responded to the Spruce Street neighborhood after receiving reports of multiple shots fired.

Officers arriving at the scene observed an unconscious and unresponsive male lying outside of an apartment building.

Authorities identified the male as Michael Robinson, Jr.,17 of Newark.

Medical personnel pronounced Robinson dead at the scene at 2:24 p.m. authorities said.
