Woman Wanted for Stealing $300, Credit Cards, Car at Newark LA Fitness

Police in Newark request the public’s help identifying a female suspect wanted in connection with a theft that occurred on Wednesday, January 4. 

Police officials said at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to LA Fitness on South Orange Avenue on a theft call.

Upon arrival, police say two separate lockers, used by two different female customers, were burglarized, with both victims reporting that their car keys, clothing, and personal property were stolen.

According to police, one victim reported that her wallet, containing $300.00 cash and credit cards, was stolen.

Police say this victim’s white 2016 Toyota Rav4 was removed from the parking lot and has been reported stolen.

Her vehicle also contained a pink iPhone 13.

According to police, the hatch/trunk area of the second victim’s white 2011 BMW X5 was left open, but nothing was reported missing.

Detectives investigating this incident obtained camera footage of the suspect leaving the locker room.

She is described as Black, wearing a black and gold box-braid hairstyle, a white T-shirt, black leggings, a black coat, and possibly a pair of Jordan 11 Retro sneakers.
