Newark Police officials request the public’s help with locating Ms. Takirra Whitfield, 30, who is wanted for questioning in a home invasion that occurred on October 16, 2022.
According to a statement released by Newark Police, officials responded to a call regarding a burglary that occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. in the 40 block of Mountainview Avenue.
The victim was assaulted by one of three male suspects, who were armed and wearing masks, after she opened her apartment door.
Police said they rushed in and she was pistol-whipped and punched in the mouth.
Whitfield is 5’ tall, with brown eyes and black hair.

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
