Authorities in Camden County are investigating a tragic early-morning incident in Berlin Township where a 23-year-old pedestrian lost her life after being struck on Route 73 Monday.
According to Capt. Michael FitzGibbon, the woman was hit near the intersection of Route 73 and Franklin Avenue around 6:15 a.m.

Footage aired by a local ABC affiliate showed a Krispy Kreme delivery truck at the scene with visible front-end damage as officers worked to secure the area.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released, pending family notification.
Berlin Township Police and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
