A woman suffered non-fatal injuries in a Newark stabbing incident on Monday evening.
It happened just before 7:25 p.m. in the 300 block of South 11th Street.
Police were dispatched to the neighborhood after receiving reports of an injured person.
Emergency responders found the female victim suffering stab wounds then transported her to University Hospital for treatment.
The motive for the stabbing has not been released at this time.
