Hunterdon County Fire officials are investigating a fire at a Clinton Township condominium complex that seriously injured a woman Sunday.
Early morning flames tore through one of the units in the 40’s block of Sam Bonnell Drive around 3:50 a.m.
Firefighters arrived and found heavy flames coming from the second level of the complex and a badly burned woman lying on the ground after jumping from the balcony.
The woman also suffered a serious head injury due to the fall.
It took firefighters under an hour to bring the fire under control with the cause under investigation.
There were no other severe injuries reported.
