A robbery that turned into a carjacking in the city's West Ward has police searching for a suspect.
According to reports, shortly before 6 p.m. in the 200 block of Smith Street, a male suspect approached a woman at that location and took her purse with personal possessions inside.
The suspect then took the woman's grey 2015 Toyota Corolla before fleeing the scene.
The suspect was only described as a black male who was last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie.
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
