The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office has confirmed at least one person was killed after multiple victims were shot in Jersey City Wednesday night.
Police responded to multiple rounds of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of Old Bergen Road and Neptune Avenue just before 10 p.m.
Upon arrival. police found three victims critically injured after suffering gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was pronounced dead while another was receiving life-saving treatment and was listed in severe condition.
Police taped off the area while detectives investigated the motive behind the shooting.
There were no arrests reported.
