Authorities in Passaic County reported that on October 15, 2023, at approximately 7:35 p.m., the Woodland Park Police Department was notified of a hit-and-run motor vehicle incident in the area of McBride Avenue and Hughes Place in Woodland Park.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Woodland Park Chief of Police John Uzzalino announced that a black Honda Odyssey struck a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk and then drove off.
According to officials, the victim, Lillian Zamlout, a 31-year-old female from Woodland Park, was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where she was subsequently pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and ongoing, and more information will be released when it becomes available, officials stated.
