A woman suffered fatal injuries after jumping from a high-rise building in Jersey City Thursday night.
It happed around 9:50 p.m. in the 70's block of Christopher Columbus Drive.
Police were dispatched to the neighborhood after receiving reports of a person injured, and when they arrived, they found a female lying on the ground suffering severe injuries.
The victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center, where doctors made the pronouncement just before 10:40 p.m.
The Jersey City Police Department is leading the investigation.
