Hudson County authorities have confirmed that a woman fatally jumped from the Bayonne Bridge on Wednesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, at around 9:30 a.m., the unidentified woman stopped her vehicle on the bridge, exited and jumped into the Kill van Kull.
Search units from the NYPD and FDNY joined Port Authority in retrieving the woman’s body then transporting her to the NY side of the river.
Police have not released her identity at this time.
