Jersey City Police are looking into the motive for a stabbing incident that injured a woman in Jersey City Wednesday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of an injured person in the 60's block of Madison Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found an unidentified woman suffering a non-fatal stab injury at that location.
Police say the victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.
There were no immediate reports of any arrests.
