A woman was transported to University Hospital in Newark after a crash near an intersection in Irvington Township on Monday morning.
Police say at approximately 1:50 a.m. Newark emergency responders were notified of a crash in the 400 block of 14th Avenue.
When crews arrived, they noticed that the crash, which involved a woman trapped inside her car, was on the Irvington side of the borders.
Rescue crews extricated the woman who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and there were no other injuries reported.
