EMS rushed a woman to the hospital after the crash caused injuries to her in Irvington Township on Saturday evening.
Police were called to investigate reports of a crash with injuries near the intersection of Clinton and Stuyvesant avenues at around 9:20 p.m.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found a vehicle overturned with a woman trapped inside according to reports.
Firefighters and rescue crews were able to extricate the woman who lost a significant amount of blood during the incident. The victim is expected to survive her injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
