A female suffered minor injuries in a strong-armed robbery that resulted in an assault in Clark Friday.
The late-evening incident happened around 10:15 p.m. near the QuickChek on Westfield Avenue.
Preliminary reports indicated that the victim was approached by a black male suspect who exited a dark-colored vehicle and wearing a mask.
The suspect reportedly snatched the woman’s pocketbook during the attack and then fled the scene.
Police have not reported an arrest in the incident at this time.
