Jersey City Police are investigating an incident where a woman was injured during an assault that occurred at a location in the city Tuesday night.
The victim was found in the 80's block of Armstrong Avenue just before 11 p.m. suffering a non-life threatening head injury after unknown assailants attacked the woman.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated then released her according to reports.
The motive for the attack remains under investigation.
