Irvington Township Police are investigating the cause of a crash that injured a woman on Friday morning.
According to police, emergency responders rushed to the intersection of Stuyvesant and Prospect avenues after receiving reports of a crash with injuries.
Firefighters and rescue crews arrived at the scene and found a car wedged under the porch of a house after the driver somehow lost control and slammed into the residence.
The victim was transported to the hospital, suffering non-life threatening injuries. Building officials immediately checked the integrity of the house for further issues.
The caus eof the crash remains under investigation.
