EMS transported a woman to Jersey City Medical Center suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries after someone stabbed her in the shoulder at a location in the city on Saturday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 50's block of Orient Avenue to investigate reports of an injured person just before 5 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found the bleeding woman suffering the apparent stab injury according to reports.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation and no arrests have been reported.
