Police believe that a woman found suffering a severe stab injury in Mount Olive overnight is a case of self-infliction.
EMS reportedly found the emotionally distressed woman inside an apartment in the 100 block of Route 46 at around 2 a.m. bleeding after undergoing an extreme amount of pain due to the stab injury according to reports.
The woman -in her late 20's- was taken to Hackettstown Hospital where doctors treated her injuries and expect her to survive.
The investigation remains active according to reports.
