A woman is expected to recover after she was found with non-life-threatening stab wounds near a Jersey City train station Wednesday morning.
Around 11:25 a.m., officers were called to the Marin Avenue Light Rail Station following reports of an injured person.
When police arrived, they located a female victim suffering from stab wounds at the scene.
She was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is expected to be OK, according to initial reports.
Authorities have not released a possible motive, and no arrests have been reported.
The incident remains under active investigation.
