A body found inside a vehicle at a restaurant in Newark on Tuesday night has police investigating the cause of death.
According to police officials, at approximately 8:25 p.m., police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of Burger King located at 2 Clay Street.
Upon arrival, they found an unidentified, unconscious and unresponsive woman inside the vehicle that had been parked at the location for several days.
Police officials said that the individual was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 8:40 p.m.
Officials have not immediately reported foul play.
