Woman Found Dead Inside Berlin Twp. Apartment; Nephew Wanted for Questioning

Authorities are searching for the nephew of a woman who was found dead inside their Berlin Township apartment over the weekend.

Winslow Township Police responded to the Taylor Woods Apartment complex in Berlin Township for a requested wellness check on Jennifer Whipple Saturday evening.

When officers arrived, they found the 46-year-old victim inside of her apartment unresponsive with signs of trauma to her body.

According to police, she was pronounced deceased at the scene at approximately 9 p.m.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. No charges or arrests have been made at this time.

Detectives would like to speak with Jennifer Whipple’s 27-year-old nephew, Shane Whipple, who has been living with the victim.

Police said Whipple is known to drive a 2004 white Pontiac Grand Am with New Jersey registration V96HGD.

Members of the public should not approach this individual; he should be considered dangerous. If you see Shane Whipple, call 911 immediately.
