There were non-life threatening injuries reported in a slashing that had two females treated at last night in Jersey City.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened in the 90's block of Harmon Street before 1 a.m. where police were called to the scene for a physical dispute in progress.
Police arrived at the scene to find a mother and her daughter suffering injuries after being slashed with a sharp object by a neighbor during a dispute reports said.
Officers took one person into custody at the scene.
The motive for the dispute remains under investigation by the Jersey City Police department.
