Police in Newark are reporting the arrest of Ms. Natasha E. Fullwood, 37, of Newark, who robbed and assaulted a victim on July 8.
According to authorities, officers responded to a call about a robbery that occurred around 10:39 a.m. at the Tremont Food Plaza in the 100 block of Tremont Avenue.
Police said the female victim was inside the store when Fullwood punched the woman in the face and threw her to the ground, where another female suspect took her purse.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
