According to the Egg Harbor Township authorities, a 31-year-old woman was airlifted to a hospital after being stabbed Sunday evening.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded at 7:55 p.m. to the stabbing reported in the 20's block of Winged Foot Lane.
Officers found the unidentified woman suffering a stab wound at that location. She was airlifted to Atlantic are Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City and an update on her condition was not immediately available.
Egg Harbor Police could not immediately be reached to provide more information about the stabbing.
