My family and friends in Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to another chilly start this Sunday, with temperatures hovering just above freezing.
It’s one of those mornings where the full winter gear—coats, hats, gloves—is absolutely needed.
Good Sunday morning!
As we step into the second half of the weekend, anyone heading out early for first service at their house of worship should bundle up.
Newark is sitting at 34 degrees at Broadway and Bloomfield Avenue, and some areas across North Jersey are even colder.
Temperatures will inch upward through the day, but don’t expect much of a warm-up. It’ll stay cool, but comfortable.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a high near 51, with light winds that may gust up to 20 mph by midday.
Tonight will be mostly clear, with lows around 38 degrees.
Stay warm, enjoy your Sunday, and have a great day, New Jersey!
