Residents in Newark and the broader North Jersey area are waking up to a pleasant and comfortable Easter Sunday morning, ideal for those heading out to early worship services.
According to the National Weather Service, the region will experience mostly sunny skies with a high temperature approaching 68 degrees. 
However, morning conditions will turn breezy, with northwest winds expected to gust up to 30 mph around 7 a.m., making the air feel cooler, as if in the mid-40s.
Churchgoers attending sunrise or morning services should be prepared with warmer clothing.
Tonight, skies will become partly cloudy, and temperatures will drop to around 43 degrees, making for a cooler evening across the region.
