Wife-preneur Tip: Implementing Structure Can Be Messy Pt 2

New Jersey

By: O.L./Sway Buckley

In yesterday's article, we shared three common red flags to look out for if it's time to implement an up-leveled business structure, you can read about it here

If you have identified with any of those red flags, get ready because today, we're diving into what to do about it!

First, it can be overwhelming (and draining) to THINK about implementing a streamlined structure into your business. It can be A LOT! In fact, the new transitions will impact how you build together (even if only one spouse is in business).

Team ThomasMen and women are wired very differently. Since today's article comes from a wife's perspective, I'll speak on simple, actionable, and practical steps I've taken over the years to transform our day-to-day.

We will divide it into simple steps wives can take to implement these and support their husbands.

⭐️ Access: Although change can feel overwhelming, the smoothest process comes when you take one step at a time. Make a list of the areas you KNOW are missing and their impact.

Success-Mapping Call⭐️ Prioritize: From your list, decide which items need to be done first and second, and so on and so forth. This step will help you focus on the MOST important step at the time.

⭐️  Help: Determine what kind of support/ accountability/skillset you need next based on the list. You may be able to watch an organization video on Youtube, read a book, or hire a coach to help with the strategy.

We can help with that.

⭐️Discuss: Bring your ideas to your husband about where you all desire the marriage and business to grow. Then show him your thoughts on how you can start moving in that direction.

(Note: Every marriage is different, so he may be interested in giving input or not, but he needs to be on board for it to be sustainable).

Then start with the first thing on your list. Often people overlook getting clarity. So if you didn't put that at the top, you can do that now. We get LOTS of clarity each day by doing a simple Legacy Meeting.
