Police in Westfield are investigating a car crash that had injuries reported in the city last night.
According to preliminary reports, the accident happened at around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Prospect Street and Dudley Avenue sending police to the scene where they found nearly a dozen vehicles damaged with a person trapped in one of the cars.
EMS transported the victim to an area where their injuries were not reported as life threatening.
County hazmat crews were called to the scene to clear away a fuel spill while tow trucks hauled away some of the damaged vehicles.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
