West New York’s Annual Farmer’s Market Begins

Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez, Commissioner Margarita Guzman, and the Board of Commissioners announced the annual West New York Farmers Market set to open today, Friday, June 10th through October 28th operating every Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The weekly market is located at Donnelly Park, at the corner of 60th St & Boulevard East.

“We are excited to partner with local businesses and the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce to bring our residents access to healthy, locally sourced, and affordable food,” said Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez.

“The Farmer’s Market provides the residents of West New York the opportunity to support local fresh food vendors, the local economy, and engage with members of the community in a safe outdoor setting.”

The Town of West New York partnered with the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce, Hoboken Farms, Alstede Farms, and Pickles Olives Etc. to increase access to fresh, local produce for West New York Residents and the surrounding communities.

Ten Parking spots have been reserved for Farmers Market Shoppers in front of Donnelly Park, at the corner of 60th and Boulevard East. Free transportation on Tiger Van begins at 1:30 PM on days the Farmer’s Market is open.
