The annual Elizabeth Citywide Back-to-School Book Bag &School Supply Giveaway will be held this Wednesday at six locations around the city.
The August 24 giveaway is open to all school-age children that reside in Elizabeth will have the opportunity of receiving a book bag and supplies from 4 to 6 p.m.
The following locations will be hosting the giveaways:
Miller Evans Logan Recreation Center (161-163 First Street)
Fred Erxleben Recreation Center (513-515 Richmond Street)
Elmora Racquet Club (23 Fernwood Terrace)
Peterstown Community Center
(418 Palmer Street)
O’Donnell Dempsey Senior Center
(622 Salem Avenue)
Stephen Sampson Senior Center (800 Anna Street)
Every child must be present to receive the book bag and supplies.
Refreshments and entertainment will be available at each center.
