In celebration of National Fire Prevention Week and Month, Wayne Fire Company #5 paid a special visit to the eager young students at Primrose School of Wayne.

They learned about the critical aspects of fire safety, including the various equipment onboard firetrucks, such as the control of water hoses.

It was an educational experience that captivated the young minds, fostering a deeper understanding of the essential work carried out by firefighters.

National Fire Prevention Week, observed from October 8th to 14th, serves as a crucial reminder of the importance of fire safety.

These important lessons continue to be emphasized throughout the entire month.

Firefighters actively engage with children, adults, and teachers, equipping them with knowledge on how to stay safe in the event of a fire and strategies to prevent fire-related incidents.

Photos from this enlightening visit capture the enthusiasm and engagement of the students as they absorb these life-saving lessons.
