Residents and businesses continue to be without water after a water main break on Tonnelle Avenue, which was first reported around 7 p.m. last night.
The resident and business owners were not the only ones affected this morning. The water main break caused a a messy morning commute for many in the area.
According to city officials northbound lanes on Route 1&9/Tonnelle Avenue between Tonnelle Circle and Carlton remain closed.
Repairs are expected by this afternoon, but an estimate might not be accurate until crews access the damage.
