Authorities in Union County closed a busy road in Berkeley Heights after a water main broke Tuesday night.
Police say the broken water main compromised the roadway in the vicinity of 197 Park Avenue just before 11:34 p.m.
Police immediately contacted utility crews after closing Park Avenue in both directions.
Officials have not reported when the break will be repaired at this time.
