Warrants Issued for Two Suspects Wanted for Separate Newark Incidents

Police in Newark reports that arrest warrants have been issued for Ryan Herman, 26, and Sean Dixon, 53, both of Newark, in separate incidents.

Police say Herman is being sought on charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy after a man was punched by a group of males at Fairmount and South Orange avenues on September 6,

The victim was transported to University Hospital where he was treated and released according to police.

Detectives investigating this incident identified Herman as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. He is described as 6’4” tall and 220 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Police say Dixon is wanted for a September 14, 2019 burglary at Edwin’s Liquors, 207 South 11th Street.

The store was broken into at midnight and cash, cigarettes, cigars and lottery tickets were stolen. Police identified Dixon as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest on a charge of burglary. He is described as 5’6” tall and 160 lbs. with a dark brown complexion, bald head and brown eyes.

While police are actively searching for Ryan Herman and Sean Dixon, they seek the public’s help in quickly locating each individual as part of these separate investigations.
