Warrant Issued for Auto Burglary Suspect in Newark

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in locating Michael Bunion, 33, of Irvington, who is wanted in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

AdNewark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said at approximately 3:15 p.m., police responded to 100 Block of South Munn Avenue on a call that a suspect had stolen a wallet containing cash, multiple credit cards, and a humidor from an unlocked vehicle parked in a residential driveway.

Officials stated that detectives investigating this incident observed on video surveillance footage Bunion entering the victim’s vehicle and removing several items, including the victim’s wallet.

Authorities say Bunion, also known as Qualee J. Mosley, is described as 5’9” tall and 145 pounds with a medium brown complexion.
