Good Morning, Jersey
We are waking up to warm and muggy conditions across Newark and the North Jersey region as we head into the end of the workweek.

Temperatures and humidity will continue to climb throughout the day, making it feel much more like midsummer.
As of 4:30 a.m., skies are clear to partly cloudy, but areas of dense fog have developed in parts of North Jersey, so allow yourself extra travel time if you’re heading out early.
Don’t forget to bring an umbrella before leaving home. While the morning will be mainly dry, scattered showers and thunderstorms could develop later this afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Patchy fog is expected before 8 a.m.
Otherwise, expect increasing clouds with a high near 90 degrees. Winds will be out of the west at 5 to 8 mph.
Tonight, there’s a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m., followed by a slight chance of lingering showers.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy with a low around 71 degrees. Winds will become light and calm during the evening.
Have a safe Friday and enjoy your day, Jersey!
