The Wallington High School Band Program is striking up more than just music this spring, it’s turning its gym into a one-day pop-up mattress showroom to support its hardworking student musicians.
On Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Wallington High School gym will transform into a full-scale mattress sale event designed to raise funds for the band program.
The creative fundraiser offers community members the opportunity to purchase brand-name mattresses at discounted prices while directly benefiting local students.
Shoppers can choose from a wide selection of styles and sizes, including twin mattresses starting at $259, full from $289, queen from $399, and king from $499.
Adjustable bases, premium pillows, mattress protectors, and home delivery options will also be available.
All major forms of payment are accepted, and financing options are offered to make purchases even more convenient.
The event combines practicality with purpose, giving residents a chance to upgrade their sleep while investing in the arts.
Proceeds from the sale will go directly toward supporting the band’s performances, equipment needs, and student activities throughout the year.
It’s not every day that buying a mattress helps fund musical excellence. In Wallington, however, that’s exactly the case, proving that when a community comes together, everyone rests a little easier.
