Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Mr. Robert L. Flynn, 66, of Waldwick, on the charges of Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography.
According to Bergen County officials, during the course of an internet explicit images of minors investigation, it was determined that Flynn used the internet to view, download, and possess approximately 1,600 digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children, and shared approximately 150 such files online.
Officials say the investigation revealed that Flynn used the internet to view, download, and possess approximately 1,600 digital files depicting unclothed and/or explicit prepubescent and pubescent children, and shared approximately 150 such files online.
Officials say the arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutors Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti.
Police charged Flynn on Monday with one count of Possession Of Explicit Images of Minors.
The victim is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
