Authorities have released surveillance video of a fatal hit-and-run in hopes that someone can identifying one of two drivers involved.

The victim, 55-year-old John Hayes, was struck by a minivan as he attempted to cross Tansboro Road near Gardens Avenue just before 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The driver remained at the scene but Hayes was then struck a second time by another vehicle who continued driving.

Hayes was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he was pronounced dead at 11 p.m.

The vehicle was described as a dark-colored sedan, possibly a mid-2000s Nissan Sentra.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office Detective Doug Rowand at 856-225-8514, Berlin Borough Police Detective Mike Sheer at 856-783-4900 or email ccpotips@ccprosecutor.org.
