VIDEO: Good Samaritans Pull Man from Burning Car After Explosive Route 22 Crash in Hillside

A crash that caused a car to burst into flames on a highway in NJ early Saturday morning had some brave Good Samaritan hop over a concrete divider from the opposite direction of the road and pull the man out of the car that was seconds from bursting into flames.

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of the highway near the vicinity of 114 at approximately 7:15 a.m. where emergency responders were called to the scene after receiving reports of a car fire with injuries reported.

A male Good Samaritan was observed on the video jump over the concrete divider that separates the road then pull the man out of the car that began to ignite into flames.

Several other Good Samaritans assisted in lifting the victim away from the car according to the video.

The crash had police completely shut the highway down in both directions causing massive delays in the area and on the Garden State Parkway according to NJ State Transportation officials.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
