At least two people were taken into custody after the vehicle they were occupying crashed on Morris Avenue in Elizabeth Tuesday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, the police pursuit came to a crashing halt after the suspect's vehicle crashed on Morris Avenue near Stiles Street sometime around 4 p.m.

Witnesses on the scene said the driver of the vehicle ran from the scene while two occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody by police.
Police officials say the suspects were wanted for narcotics possession.
There were no injuries reported.
