Paterson Police officials are looking into the motive behind a stabbing incident that occurred in the city overnight on June 21.
According to police, at approximately 12:10 a.m., police were notified of an injured person in the 20's block of Ward Street.
Upon arrival, police say they found the victim suffering a stab wound in his chest at the location.
The unidentified person was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital suffering serious injuries.
Police say that there are no arrests reported in the incident. The investigation is active and ongoing.
