Police in Newark are on the search for suspects responsible for an armed robbery in the city's West Ward Tuesday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress in the 300 block of 13th Avenue around 1 a.m.
Upon arrival, police were told by the victim that several male suspects armed with guns pulled up in a Porsche Cayenne and demanded personal items.
Police say the suspects fled the scene with the victim's Ipad and other items.
According to police, the suspects were last observed in the 300 block of Mount Prospect just before 2 a.m.
There were no physical injuries reported.
