Police in East Orange reported no injuries in a robbery incident that occurred in the city on Thursday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, just before 1 a.m., police responded to reports of a robbery in progress near 87 North 15th Street.
Upon arrival, police found the victim, who reported that suspects occupying two vehicles approached and took a cell phone and other personal possessions.
Police say one of the vehicles was a red Jeep Cherokee with 3-5 males inside and the car is a silver or grey Honda Accord with a white or Hispanic male occupying the vehicle.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at large.
