Vehicles stolen from a tow yard in Newark have authorities investigating.
The incident was reported at the Dente Brothers Towing lot located in the 20's block of Raymond Boulevard where police were called to take a report of two vehicles missing from the yard before 3:00 am.
According to preliminary reports, a gold 2016 BMW 6 series and a black Jeep Grand Cherokee was taken from the facility.
It is not clear of the vehicles were under police investigation at this time.
There were also reports of two vehicles missing from another tow yard located in the city's East Ward.
Public records show that the City of Newark contracts both tow yard companies.
